Content or Personal Brand...

What Do Your Buyers Value More?

It’s an argument that’s been puzzling sales professionals for of the greatest sales debates of our time - content or personal brand...what do YOUR buyers value more?

It’s certainly something that Justin Welsh and Darryl Praill have been spending a lot of time arguing about recently...did you catch this recent Twitter exchange?

Justin Welsh: Content doesn’t work. Lead magnets don’t work. I’ve downloaded 500+ ebooks, whitepapers, case studies, infographics...never bought a thing. I’ve purchased 2 things online, and they were from people I followed for months and loved their content. Build fans...not email campaigns!

Darryl Praill: All this tells me is that 500+ companies don’t know how to sell. An intent signal is an intent signal is an intent signal. No doubt you’ve made 50,000 cold calls and the vast majority didn’t buy...but you still cold call.

Join us on Tuesday, June 16 at 2:00pm ET as we let these two go at it. But, to keep them on their toes, we thought we’d bring in an impartial third party to make the discussion just a little more interesting...

Gaetano DiNardi enters the room.

Which side are you on when it comes to content and its role in the buying process? Does content still work? Or is now the age of personal brand?
