Meeting The Challenges in Fundraising’s Brave New World

Over the past year, educational fundraising campaigns have been thrown into chaos. Factors from social distancing, to an upended economy, to general uncertainty and fear, have not only directly impacted campaigns, but they have exposed shortcomings in many fundraising processes and programs.

As we head into 2021, and hopefully out of this “dystopia”, now is the time to look back on what we can do differently - and better - to ensure our campaigns are not thrown into a state of chaos whenever circumstances change, And it is also a time to look at what may be forever changed, and how we can harness innovation to improve campaign effectiveness in the future.

VanillaSoft’s Head of Product Marketing, Bergen Wilde, brought together a number of experts from the higher ed fundraising community to share their experience and insights. Parker Subia, Assistant Director for Student and Young Alumni Philanthropy at the Kenyon College Office of Advancement; Gregg Carlson, President of the Prometheus Group and fundraising innovator; and Lucy Thomas, VanillaSoft Sales Agent and former Assistant Director of Annual Giving at St. Mary’s College joined Bergen.

Watch this webinar on-demand and hear from the fundraising front lines as this group takes you through the lessons they learned in 2020, and share their ideas, insights, and top strategies for fundraising through 2021 and beyond.
