David Bryant

Dave Bryant is a 15-year veteran in the employee benefits industry, currently serves as CEO at Brystra Insurance Services and AvocadoHR a joint venture insurance brokerage and HR consulting firm focused on corporate benefits, HR technology, and compliance solutions. Prior to founding Brystra, Dave held a senior sales management role at a Fortune 100 insurance carrier where he oversaw regional operations including recruiting, new agent training, and quota attainment on new sales and existing account expansion.  Immediately prior, he held the role of Principal and Director of Sales for Ziprecruiter's ZipHR and insurance services division, he helped build a national benefits insurance agency from scratch in a matter of months. His responsibilities also included all agent onboarding from the initial application reviews to interviews, licensing, insurance knowledge training, and sales.Most recently, in early 2020, Dave co-founded MonarkHQ, an employee benefits quoting and data analytics software company that is free for Brokers (beta recently launched in California). Dave earned his BA from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo Ontario Canada and is now completing his CEBS from Wharton/IFEBP.  He splits his time between LA and NYC


Bergen Wilde

Beginning his sales career with the family flower business, Bergen Wilde moved briefly into federal politics as a campaign manager. Transitioning out of politics – almost – Bergen spent a few years selling SAP data archiving consulting services to the federal government before moving into document management software sales. Loving the energy in smaller companies, he joined a colleague’s start-up document management firm in a sales and marketing role where Bergen discovered his true calling – product marketing. After 18 years in sales, Bergen now leverages his experience as the Head of Product Marketing for VanillaSoft, the leader in sales engagement software.
